In Mail Archiver you can archive from your email clients or directly from IMAP. To set up IMAP you need user name and server name. The article will show you how to find the information in Mail, Outlook, Postbox and Thunderbird. Password information can be entered into the email client. But information can't be retrieved from the email client.

Mail

Select Preferences from the Mail menu:Mail Preferences

Go to Accounts and select your account:

In the area "Incoming Mail Server (IMAP)" you will need the values for "User Name" and "Host Name".

Outlook

In Outlook go to the Preferences from the Outlook menu: Preferences Outlook

Select Accounts and select your account:

In the area "Server information" you need the values for "User name" and "Incoming server".

Postbox

Select Preferences from the Postbox menu:

Go to Accounts and select your account:

You need the values for "User Name" and "Incoming Server".

And the last one is Thunderbird.

Select Account Settings from the Tools menu:

Select your account and then Server Settings:

You need the values for "User Name" and "Server Name".

In the 4 email clients the settings are similar but not identical. You don't need values for port and SSL because you should always use 993 as port and SSL on.
